The anniversary of Charles Dickens’ death is coming up June 9. He passed away from a stroke in 1870. The History Channel celebrated the author’s 200th birthday two years ago by presenting seven interesting facts many people might not know about Dickens. One of those facts concerns a train accident Dickens survived in 1865, on the exact day of the year that would become the anniversary of his death.
